Duty Weekend Hours Changes

Historically the Weekend Duty Pharmacy opened on Saturday evening, Sunday morning and Sunday evening.

With changes at Inverell Hospital GP Clinic and the Emergency Department we have found our
evening opening shift is less popular than before.

We recognise that access to a pharmacy over the weekend is important. And we believe Inverell is fortunate to have the Duty Chemist arrangements it does.

To harmonise the Duty Chemist Opening Hours, from 3 July 2023 we will be operating the following Duty Chemist Shifts, when it’s our weekend to provide this service to our community:

Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm
Sunday 10am to 12pm
