Flu Vaccinations 2021

April 8th 2021

In NSW qualified pharmacists can administer the Influenza vaccination to suitable patients aged 10 years and over. Pharmacy vaccinators are required to complete a comprehensive training program which includes pre-vaccinating assessments and management of any adverse events that may occur after a vaccination.

The pharmacy will upload a record of your vaccination to the Australian Immunisation Register. Your GP can access this Register and confirm you have received the Influenza vaccination.

Campbell & Freebairn Chemists have decided to not increase the fee for vaccinations this year. We will be charging $20 per vaccination.

Campbell & Freebairn Chemists have FOUR qualified vaccinators: Erica Atkins, Justine Ehsman, Emma Freebairn and Clare McCosker.

Unfortunately the pharmacy cannot provide the “free” flu vaccines that certain people can get from their local doctor. We may ask you questions about your age, pregnancy, chronic illnesses etc to ensure you aren’t missing out on a Government subsidised flu needle from your GP.

Recent changes in the NSW rules allow Pharmacist Vaccinators to perform Vaccination services   outside of the pharmacy. If you have 20 or more staff and a suitable staff health clinic room, please ring us to discuss an onsite vaccination day for your staff. 6722 3089.

Campbell & Freebairn Chemists are offering a Corporate Rate to local businesses. Please email Justine for details Justine@mooc.com.au

We are holding Vaccination Clinic Days in the pharmacy, 66 Otho Street, Inverell, and we invite you to phone to book into one of these days. 6722 3089.
